Permits

A permit is required for any entity that is doing work within Boardman Township Right of Way.  This includes, downspout tie-ins, replacing or widening of driveways, etc.

If you need a permit, please contact our office @ 330-726-4190 and we will email the permit and map to you.

Permit Fee Schedule Effective 3/23/26

Driveway Permit – $25 (It is the contractors responsibility to taper the driveway to meet the road.  All driveways shall be either asphalt or concrete.  Any new drive or driveway expansion shall be no closer than 3 feet from the property line).

Boring Permit – $50

Work in Right of Way Permit – $25 (single address)
Work in Right of Way Permit – $500 (long line)

Overload Hauling Permit – $250

Open Cut Permit – $1,000
Any open cut performed without a permit shall incur a fine of $1,500

For your convenience, you may either mail or return the permit and fee to our office Monday – Friday between 8:00 am and 3:00 pm.  Please Note: If the permit is mailed, it will take longer for permit approval.
