Now Accepting Applications for Entry Level Firefighter Position

Boardman Township is accepting applications for a Full-Time Entry Level Fire Fighter position. Completed applications will be accepted in person or via email beginning January 5, 2022, from 9-12 PM and 2-4 PM Monday – Friday until January 21, 2022, (except weekends and holidays).

Emergency Home Repair Program Available to Boardman Residents

Boardman residents are recently eligible for funding available for emergency home repairs through the American Rescue Plan (ARP).

The Youngstown Neighborhood Development Corporation (YNDC) offers a Mahoning County emergency home repair program to assist low-income homeowners with emergency repairs such as roof replacements, furnace and plumbing repairs at NO COST to the owners.

Applicants must be at or below 50% of the area median income and meet other eligibility requirements. This program is available throughout Mahoning County and funded by the Mahoning County Commissioners.

Annual Leaf Pick-Up Program Begins November 1

The Boardman Township Trustees will be conducting their annual Leaf Pick-Up Program beginning Monday, November 1 and ending Friday, November 19. The 2021 Program will follow the same schedule for leaf pick-up as it has in the past.

Please check this page for a complete list of pick-up days for each road. Leaves are to be placed in recyclable brown paper bags and brought to the curb for pick-up by the Township Road Department the night before your scheduled pick-up day. The paper bags are available for purchase at local retail stores.

Due to the Veteran’s Day holiday, no leaves will be picked up on Thursday, November 11 but will be picked up on Friday, November 12. If you have any questions, please contact the Boardman Township Road Department at 330-726-4190.
