Yard Clean Up — Brush Chipping Program

Boardman Township has initiated a Brush Chipping Program to help you clean up and clear out your yard after the storm of July 5, 2026

Please follow these guidelines:

Limbs and branches can be no thicker than eight inches in diameter
Keep the branches long – do not cut them short.
Stack branches in the same direction. DO NOT throw them in a pile.
No short logs. No root balls.
We cannot chip loose leaf piles.

Please be patient as we make our way around the Township. There is no schedule. We plan to visit every street twice. Any items we cannot chip we will leave on site. Questions – please call the Road Department at 330-726-4190

IMPORTANT:

The woodchipping service being supplied by the township is only for residents doing their own cleanup. If you have a professional service or tree company removing a tree or doing any tree cleanup, the service or company is responsible for woodchipping the branches and removing the branches from your property.
