Larry Moliterno Elected to CLOUT Executive Board

The Coalition of Large Ohio Urban Townships (CLOUT) has elected Boardman Township Trustee Larry Moliterno to its 16-member Executive Committee, which represents large urban townships across Ohio. Formed in 1994, CLOUT provides a forum for similarly sized townships to share challenges and solutions while offering input to the Ohio Township Association (OTA). Membership is limited to townships with at least 15,000 residents in unincorporated areas or budgets exceeding $3 million. The Executive Committee, elected annually during the OTA Winter Conference, meets quarterly to establish legislative priorities and may support litigation efforts through amicus curiae briefs.

Moliterno’s election underscores Boardman Township’s leadership among Ohio’s largest townships and ensures the township has a direct voice in shaping statewide policies affecting governance, public safety, infrastructure, and fiscal stability. Boardman Township Fiscal Officer Brad Calhoun praised Moliterno’s experience and commitment to responsible local government, noting the respect he has earned statewide. His service on the CLOUT Executive Committee further strengthens Boardman’s role in statewide policy discussions impacting local communities.
